Which tool fits your priority?
To connect your lessons with the work learners do between sessions, consider AfterClass. Its focus in this comparison is the learning workflow: starting with the lesson, organising follow-up and preparing the next session, while the teacher retains control over the content sent.
To organise a training provider, examine Digiforma and Qualiobee against your administrative processes. Request a demonstration using a typical learner file: registration, documents, attendance, assessment and completion. Compare the outcome, the steps required and the add-ons needed.
To sell courses or a community, examine Kajabi through your buying journey. Test a sales page, a payment and access to the content. This guidance is based on the documented positioning and features; it is not a universal ranking.
How do you compare the total cost?
An entry price is not enough. First define a common scenario: learners over twelve months, trainers, administrators, products and contacts. Then add the modules you need, payment fees, migration and setup time.
Distinguish an annual commitment from annual payment. A monthly price with an annual commitment does not necessarily mean you can cancel each month. Digiforma and Qualiobee prices exclude tax; Kajabi lists US dollars. AfterClass prices reproduce the homepage, which says VAT and billing are handled by LemonSqueezy without specifying whether prices include or exclude tax. We have not converted currencies, to avoid a comparison tied to a temporary exchange rate.
AfterClass lists €39/month for the Teaching Platform and €89/month for Platform + Compliance, with no commitment. Compare each plan’s scope and the final checkout amount before drawing conclusions about total cost.
Questions to ask during a demonstration
Ask the provider to recreate your actual week: a completed lesson, a learner who needs practice and preparation for the next class. Check what is prepared automatically, what requires approval and what the learner sees.
Also request an example export of your data and documents, cancellation terms, included support and the cost at your next growth tier. A feature not detailed in this comparison should be checked with the provider; its omission from the table does not mean it is unavailable.
Frequently asked questions
Can AfterClass replace Digiforma or Qualiobee?
That depends on your requirements. This article presents the AfterClass learning workflow; it does not establish that it can fully replace your administrative tools. Test your documents, processes and exports before migrating.
Which software is cheapest?
There is no reliable answer without a common scope. Compare the same volumes, add-ons and commitments, then add applicable taxes and fees. AfterClass starts at €39/month with no commitment; the entry price alone does not establish the total cost.
Are features missing from the table unavailable?
No. The table summarises selected information from the sources consulted. It is not a complete inventory and does not establish that a feature is absent.
